Testimonials
Here is what some of Paul's clients had to say...
"I have found Paul to be incredibly knowledgeable about physical training strategies and work-out
techniques that are customized for each of his clients. Paul has been able to increase my physical
agility and stamina. He is encouraging and supportive and I think these assets are critical for
individuals who don't embrace or see physical fitness as a necessary ingredient of healthful living.
Through his efforts, I can lift items that were way beyond my capabilities before I started working
with him. These changes are directly attributable to Paul's knowledge, skills and support.
I would recommend him to anybody who is looking to become more fit or more healthy or just wants to
enjoy doing the things that most people pursue like walking, riding a bike just feeling good about oneself."

"I recently made the serious decision to invest in my physical fitness but had no idea where to start. I
tried to get myself motivated but it was too inconsistent. After meeting Paul at Club Phoenix I began to get
excited about the prospect of a workout routine that kept me consistent and accountable to someone. Paul has
been instrumental in this by continually challenging me, and my abilities; while closely monitoring my limits.
He is diligent and encouraging about using proper technique and challenges my stamina and fluidity of movement.
Sometimes I get discouraged looking at the big picture but Paul's patience and gentle guidance enable me to
stay focused and productive. I love the challenge and I feel better and have more energy. Paul is committed to
staying relevant and informed on new techniques and workout programs and I trust him to tailor his knowledge
and experience for me personally. I am really enjoying this new level of fitness training. Thanks Paul, for all
your advice, patience, expertise and for putting up with me when I'm not feeling 100%!"

"I have been a happy member of Club Phoenix since 2003. My goals with the club were to maintain my level of
physical fitness, which I didn't find very difficult since I was a grade 8 PE teacher who participated in many
physical activities including weekly runs, downhill and cross country mountain biking, pilates, dance and
seasonal sports including ultimate, and soccer. Along with turning 30, I made a drastic life change in my
career path which has led me to lead a less active lifestyle. Paul has been there every step of the way,
increasing my weekly workouts to include both cardio and strength training. As well, he's able to track and
accommodate for nagging injuries, while still keeping me challenged. I seek out active, fast-paced, diversified
exercises and Paul is happy to oblige. Paul is very supportive and encouraging, as well as very knowledgeable
and educated. I have been able to maintain my level of fitness, and keep my fitness goals in sight. It is with
the highest regard that I recommend Paul McKinney."

"Having a trainer over the past 8 months is undoubtedly the main reason why I have stuck with a fitness program.
Although I've always known it was important to exercise, I have never been an athletic or active person, and my
past forays into fitness have been short-lived and disappointing. Thanks to Paul for his patience and encouragement
during those times I wanted to pack it in. Thanks for teaching me the importance of a well rounded approach to health
and fitness, which includes attention to things like core strength, balance, cardio, flexibility, diet and making
workouts fun. Thanks for always pushing me to do more than I think I can do. Thanks for the extra effort you make to
research topics I am interested in and to help me recover from injuries. I would never have thought that one of the
hi-lights of my week would be having someone push me to work up a sweat or feel my muscles burn. Here's to many more
training sessions and me meeting all my goals!"
Cheers, Gail
