Testimonials
Here is what some of Chris's clients had to say...
As a former runner with knee injuries, it is always frustrating not to be able to do the one thing I love
the most: running. I lack motivation to try other type of exercises and with my wedding fast approaching, I
was trying to get back into shape as quick as possible. I decided to seek the help of a personal trainer at
the Kitsilano Community Center just 2.5 months before my deadline - the wedding day.
When I met Chris, I immediately knew I was in good hands. He had already probed on what my goals were, what
challenges I was facing, and after his initial assessment he built a training plan for the following 9 weeks.
The first couple of days were more painful than I expected, but the motivation I received from Chris kept me
going. I enjoyed our sessions as Chris is a friendly, high energy and super fun person to "hang out" with.
Our one hour training sessions went by fast and I found myself looking forward to our workouts.
Chris provided me with guidance and taught me how to do the exercises properly. I particularly enjoyed being
exposed to a completely new routine and being challenged and motivated by Chris. He used different techniques
throughout our training sessions, he helped me improve my core strength, used interval training to increase my
cardio capacity and weight lifting for muscle tone. He also helped me with nutrition advice; I was increasingly
hungry after our workout sessions, and being a vegetarian I wasn't getting enough protein to sustain the physical
activity. Chris was very knowledgeable and I was able to take his advice on high protein foods and effectively
change my diet.
Results came fast. I felt stronger each session and I could feel the change in my body. I got leaner and my
muscles were more toned. I found myself doing things that I never thought I could. 3 weeks before the wedding
I felt in such good shape that I decided to change the training frequency from 3 days a week to 7 days a week.
Chris' enthusiasm on my improvements just fed my drive. He once told me "your success is my success" and I can
truly say he lived by this motto.
After only 9 weeks of training, I had far achieved my goals. I was back into shape, I felt strong and toned,
I had finally got that push I needed to start a routine and I had learned many different exercises I could do
to continue to be physically fit. My initial goal of getting back in shape for my wedding day was far exceeded.
I HIGHLY recommend Chris as an excellent personal trainer. His attitude and energy, deep knowledge of the human
body and his ability to understand your needs and motivate you make him an excellent personal trainer!

"Chris Woeller is a great fitness trainer. If you put in an honest effort, he can help you reach your fitness goals.
I think one reason why he's so successful with helping his clients is that he can easily relate to them. If you're
overweight or rehabilitating from an accident he's been there. During the time I trained with him, he had a full time
job on top of that he managed to balance his responsibility as a dad and still find the time to be just as fit as the
other trainers at the gym.
Before I trained with Chris, i was underweight, 5'8 at 130 lbs. I was out of shape, poor diet, I was quite a project.
I set a realistic expectation that it would take time to reach my goal of gaining muscle and increasing my strength.
I initially booked 10 sessions with Chris and after the 10 sessions I felt I could trust him to reach my fitness goals
and continued training with him. Within 3 months I saw results and my friends commented on the changes as well. During
those initial 3 months he helped me worked on my endurance with cardio and high intensity exercises before moving on
with heavier weights. I continued to work out with him for almost 2 years.
I trained with him for 2 years, not because it took him that long to help me reach my fitness goals, but because he
kept me motivated and on track and made the training session interesting by changing up the workout routine every so
often. I'm more fit, healthier and stronger and now weighing in at a healthy 147 lbs.
If you need help with getting in shape, book a few session with Chris and see for yourself on how he can help you."

I was fortunate enough to have Chris Woeller as my personal trainer in April 2008 and continued to workout with him
for approximately one year. He was devoted to providing new routines to help push my abilities and obtain my personal
fitness goals. He knew my needs and limits, but he also knew when to give me the motivation required to make progress.
He brought forth a positive attitude, a great personality and the expertise needed to provide success for his clients.
I would continue to train with Chris, if I hadn't moved out of province.

I started training with Chris more than 4 years ago to get and stay in shape. He kept me motivated and used a variety
of exercises to keep me challenged and fit. He worked on improving my posture and always, always was committed to
making sure I was conscience of the impact of being fit and healthy. He always worked me hard and pushed me, but he
used humour to make the sessions more enjoyable and less "like a personal training session". In fact, we had to stop
mid-session a few times to calm ourselves down from laughter. As a Laughter Coach and Laughter Yoga instructor I can
appreciate a good sense of humour. When I decided that I would like to run more often, Chris moved our workouts outside
and would even participate to keep me motivated. Not many trainers would.
He helped me prepare for my climb up Mount Kilimanjaro for Alzheimer's and even participated in some of the fund raising
events. I don't know if the climb would have been as successful without Chris's training and attitude. This really came
through in every session that we had preparing for the climb. Because of his attitude and his commitment to training he
was held in high regard of his peers and was frequently recommended by other trainers. You could describe him as a "Trainers"
trainer. He was so dedicated to me being successful in my climb that he would change his schedule at last minute to accommodate me.
When I had developed an injury, Chris would research for me by talking to his colleagues and also had contacted physiotherapists
and sports doctors for advice. He was very successful in dealing with my wrist and forearm injuries and together we fixed the
problems relatively quickly. After I developed a "frozen shoulder", Chris followed the guidance of my therapist to the point
that we were making measurable progress. Even though the sessions were repetitive and the exercises were very predictable,
Chris kept me motivated and entertained.
When I decided to get more involved in the Fitness industry and get a few certifications, Chris was so encouraging.
He would take the time to answer any questions I had and would even review my work and make suggestions and continually
push me to become as knowledgeable as I could be.
Thanks for all the training.
